NEW at kendo-sport: Shinai Zanshin

The Shinai Zanshin is a competition shinai. The centre of gravity is positioned more towards the centre, making it suitable for both short and long techniques. The grip is relatively thin. It features high-quality AA-grade bamboo and a deluxe leather grip. The shinai comes fully assembled and includes a tsuba and tsubadome. The tsuba may need to be adjusted to fit.

The term Zanshin describes a state of sustained, undivided attention. Zanshin is one of the prerequisites for a valid hit in Kendo.


Available sizes:
Size 39 (120 cm): Weight approx. 520 g (weight excluding Tsuba and Tsubadome).
A = Grip approx. 27–28 mm, measured at the lower end with grip leather.
B = Grip approx. 31–32 mm, measured at the upper end with grip leather.
