Boku means wood, and ken and do means sword. In Kendo, the Bokken is used in Kata (promised movements for practicing). All of our Bokken except for Suburi, are best for using in Kata. All of our Bokken (with an exception of a Sunuri) is delivered with a Tsuba and a Tsubadome.
