This beautiful tsuba for Shinai is made of pure leather. With thickness of 8 mm it offers better protection and longer life than a thin tsuba. It makes an excellent gift and enhances any Shinai. The Japanese Tombo dragonfly is one of the most important symbols of Japanese culture. It also represents courage, strength and luck, furthermore it embodies in popular belief the spirit of the rice plant.
