The slim shape of this Shinai resembles of the original form of the Shinken. It has a consistent line running from the handle to the top and is well balanced. The weight focus is closer to the Kensen and it is particulary suitable for Suriage Waza and large techniques. The bamboo quality is AA and the Tsugagawa is deluxe. The Shinai is delivered with a Tsuba and a Tsubadome. It may be necessary to adjust the Tsuba yourself.
Available sizes:
39 (120 cm): weight about 530 - 540 g (without Tsuba and Tsubadome).
A = Handle approx. 27 - 29 mm mm, handle measured at the lower end of Tsukagashira, and covered with leather.
B = Handle approx. 29 - 32 mm, handle measured at the upper end of the tsuka, and covered with leather.
