Even for a beginner/ easy level's Bogu, it is made out of #7000 cotton and high quality leather. Through these materials, it makes an extremely good qualioty for its price. The distance between the stitching is 2mm and 5mm.The resulting stiffness of the cotton quality of #7000 gives a significant better protection than the normal beginner´s Bogu made of #5000 cotton. The Bogu is also aviliable in XL size. In the set, there is a Men, a Do, a Tare, a pair of Kote, a Tenugi and a Himo-Set.
Men 2 mm/ 5 mm #7000 Naname: This Men is made exclusively from cotton in #7000 quality. The distances between the stitchings is 2 mm and 5 mm. The Megane is made out of duralumin. The wings of this Men are made in Naname technique. Therefore, the wings became much more flexible, and it is much easier to move the arms during training.
Kote 5 mm #7000: These Kote are padded with pure cotton. An additional padding on the back of the glove provides an additional protection. An additional protection on the forearm, at the wrist, protects this particularly shock exposed part. Due to the diagonal sewing, the wrist remains mobile.
Do standard: The Do is made from black plastic and real ox leather. The distance between the stitches is 4,5 mm at the level of the Mune.
Tare 2 mm/ 5 mm #7000 Gunome: The Tare is made of idigo dyed #7000 quality cotton. It is filled with 100% cotton. The Tare is sewn at a 2 mm stitching distance, but the small inner areas have a 5 mm stitching distance. The edges are strengthened with leather. All leather parts are sewn by hand.
